Ms. Martinez- Second Grade Teacher
Hello and welcome! My name is Rachel Martinez, and I’m so excited to be your child’s second grade teacher this year! I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a Bachelor's degree in Education and have been teaching in Comal ISD for seven years—this is my third year at KRES, and I absolutely love being part of this amazing school community.
When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to the movies, baking sweet treats, reading, painting, and taking walks to unwind.
I’m passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to grow. I look forward to a wonderful school year full of learning, laughter, and success!
