On Saturday, February 2nd our FLL team earned a 3rd place award for their project "Food for Thought" and 5th place overall, advancing them to the next level of competition. They will be competing on March 23rd against other FLL teams from the San Antonio area. Way to go, Cowboys!

Entering high school can seem a little overwhelming, but Comal ISD has streamlined one of the biggest hurdles facing incoming freshmen with #Plan4MyFuture Nights.

First Lego League teams representing every elementary Comal ISD campus put their hard work to the test Saturday during a district-wide tournament. Robots, projects and core values were judged based on this year's "Into Orbit" theme.

PTA sponsored a Spirit Night Out Fundraiser at Chick-fil-A on Tuesday, Jan 29th

Individual and team honors were awarded recently during the first of three district-wide Chess Tournaments. The first tournament was hosted at Canyon Lake High School. The next is scheduled for Feb. 23 at Smithson Valley High School followed by the final tournament on March 23 at Canyon High.

Two special guests made a visit to Kinder Ranch Elementary school on January 15, sharing their new children’s book All Around Us.

It's not too late to get started on those New Year's Resolutions especially if one of them includes getting involved with Comal ISD.

The competition is fierce for Comal ISD's 2nd Annual Geography Bee. Geography Bee champions from each middle school will qualify to take an online test to determine whether they will compete for the state bee.

Review new classroom materials including textbooks for K-8 English language arts and Spanish language arts before they are adopted by Comal ISD.
